Effective 21 September 2026. This policy explains what Hangzhou Qiaoyi Network Technology Co., LTD. (trading as JOYCAT) does with personal information on www.joypet.cn. The website is aimed at business buyers; it is not aimed at consumers or children.
Who is responsible
Data controller: Hangzhou Qiaoyi Network Technology Co., LTD., brand name JOYCAT, registered at Room 213, Building 1, No. 50 Xueyuan North Road, Gongshu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Questions, requests and complaints about this policy go to kevin@joypet.cn. Some older pages on this domain describe a mobile pet-locator application that is a separate service with its own policies; this document does not cover that application.
What we receive
From the inquiry, catalogue and quotation forms: your name, company, email address, country or market, website, WhatsApp number, buyer role, the products you mention, and your message. Each form also records the page you submitted from, the referring site, and any campaign tags present in the address (for example utm_source). The consent tick box on the form is what lets us reply to you.
Automatically: our web server keeps access logs containing the requesting IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. These exist to keep the site up, block abuse and count traffic; they are not joined to your inquiry to build a profile.
Not collected: payment details, government identifiers, precise location, or any special category of personal data. We do not buy visitor data and we do not sell it.
Why we process it
- To answer you — quotations, MOQ and lead-time questions, catalogue delivery, sample and OEM/ODM discussions. Lawful basis: steps at your request before entering a contract, and performance of any order that follows.
- To run the business — order records, shipping documentation and after-sales support, where an order exists.
- To protect the site — spam filtering and abuse prevention on forms.
- To improve the catalogue — aggregate counts of which product pages and categories buyers open.
Who else sees it
Only the JOYCAT team handling your enquiry, plus the providers that make the site and email work: cloud hosting and content delivery for this website (Tencent Cloud, with the origin in Singapore) and business email delivery (Alibaba Enterprise Mail). If we later connect a CRM, an analytics platform or an advertising pixel, we will name the provider here before it starts receiving data, and any consent banner will appear before it loads.
International handling
The site is hosted in Singapore and our team works from China. If you send us information from the EEA, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with transfer rules, that information moves to those places. Where a transfer needs safeguards we rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (or the UK Addendum) with the relevant provider, and we keep transfer volume to the minimum needed to answer you.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are kept while we are in correspondence with you and for up to three years after the last contact, so a follow-up order or a returning buyer can be handled by the same people. Server access logs are kept for a short rolling window. Ask us and we will delete your records earlier, unless an order, invoice or customs record requires us to keep that file.
Your rights
Where applicable you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy of your data in a portable format, or withdrawal of consent. Write to kevin@joypet.cn and tell us which site page or form you used, so we can find the right record. There is no charge for a reasonable request. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HTTP-to-HTTPS forced, administrative access is limited to named staff accounts, and database access requires server-side credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we keep collected data minimal rather than promising an absolute guarantee.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version is always published at joypet.cn/legal/privacy-policy/.
